Did you know?

It may not be a very cheerful subject but shareholders have the option to nominate someone to whom their shareholding will be transferred upon their death. The Cooperative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 has special provisions aimed at making the transfer of up to £5000 of shares easy and inexpensive. A valid nomination will override any will or the rules of intestacy for the nominated property held at death. Anyone wishing to make a nomination, or to find out more about doing so, is welcome to contact Richard Pratt, Company Secretary: findoncommunityshop@gmail.com
